<p>The processing Mechanical properties</p>
<p>1.1 and general stainless steel welding performance as, 90 4 L can use a variety of welding welding. The most common way for manual arc welding or inert gas welding, metal welding rod or wire based on the composition and purity of the base metal higher molybdenum content requirements than the base metal. Warm-up before welding is generally not required, but in the cold outdoor work, in order to avoid condensation of water vapor, or near the region of joints can be used for uniform heating. Note that the local temperature should not exceed 10 0 ℃, so as not to cause the carbon concentration, causing intergranular corrosion. Welding should be adopted when a small line of energy, continuous and fast welding speed. Post-weld heat treatment is generally not required, for the heat treatment must be heated to 110 0 ~ 1150 ℃ after rapid cooling.</p>
<p>1.2 90 4 L machining performance characteristics similar to other machining austenitic stainless steel, tool processing viscous and hardening trend. To adopt the positive rake angle carbide cutting tools to sulfide and chlorinated cutting oil as a coolant, equipment and technology should be to reduce the work hardening as a precondition. Cutting process should avoid using slow cutting speed and feed amount.</p>

<div dir="ltr">904L super austenitic stainless steel is a low-carbon high-nickel, molybdenum austenitic stainless acid-proof steel, with a very  good activation  &#8211; passivation conversion capability, excellent corrosion resistance, in non-oxidizing acid such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid has good corrosion resistance in neutral chloride ion has a good medium resistance to pitting corrosion, but also has good resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion resistance. For various concentrations of sulfuric acid below 70 ℃, any resistance at atmospheric pressure and the concentration of acetic acid and formic acid at any temperature mixed with acetic acid corrosion resistance is also very good.</div>

<p>Many pepole are thinking: sometimes we call pipes, sometimes we call them tubes. Both of them are with the same shape. And we are confused what&#8217;s pipe and what tube .<br />
More often than not, people guess it has something to do with the quality of the materials, but that&#8217;s got nothing to do with it. The difference between a pipe and a tube is how they are measured, and ultimately what they are used for.<br />
A pipe is a vessel &#8211; a tube is structural.<br />
A pipe is measured ID &#8211; a tube is measured OD.<br />
How they are measured&#8230; Pipes are measured ID or inside diameter because they are vessels. Tubes are measured OD or outside diameter because they are structural.<br />
Pipes have a consistent ID regardless of wall thickness. In other words, a 1/2&#8243; high pressure pipe may need a 2&#8243; thick wall, but the ID will still only be 1/2&#8243; even tho the OD is 4.5&#8243;.<br />
Generally speaking, a tube will have a consistent OD and it&#8217;s ID will change. Engineers see <a href="http://www.stainless-steel-seamless-pipe.net">tubes</a> and pipes with different eyes.<br />
A tube is structural.<br />
By having a consistent OD they can vary wall thickness, changing the ID, to increase strength. Because they are consistent OD, they have predictable characteristics.<br />
Again, the difference is simple, it&#8217;s how they are measured and what their intended uses are.</p>
